The following lectures were given in Pretoria, South Africa, between 6th February and 4th December 1951. (The same also being given earlier in Johannesburg between 12th October 1950 and 14th June 1951). The Lecture Notes were able to be purchased in blocks of ten prior to the series being given. A full account of these lectures combining the Lecture Notes and a transcription into text of the 28 known sound recordings has never been made public until now. This edition is now the definitive version of the Inner Course as given by Murdo to his South Africa students.
This extraordinary and wonderful series of Lectures are devoted to the life and teachings of the great Master Jesus. Murdo's explanations of the Master's sayings and parables reveal the man to the genuine seeker as well as the Christ Principle in us all.
Included is a transcription into text of 28 original sound recordings of the 33 Lectures that make up this book.

Immediately you create separation, in any form whatsoever, you create an opposition. Immediately you create separation in your own mind you create an opposition. Immediately you feel a separation between one race and another; you create an opposition. Immediately you create separation between one idea and another, you create an opposition. Opposition then turns to antagonism, antagonism turns to strife and strife then becomes what - the evil that is clutching at mans throat. And who created it - man himself, no other. The Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil is the thing that grows in man's mind, the Tree of Life is the Wisdom of God.
You may ask who was the founder of this Science? The founder of this Science was Jesus, the man of Galilee.
Now because Jesus healed the sick, this of itself is no proof that it is a Science. But because it was done, there must have been a scientific law behind it, for there is no such thing as an accident with God, and as the Christ was God, the knowledge and Science was also there.
"When you have seen me, you have seen the Father. No you not, I am in the Father and the Father is in me. I of myself can do nothing, it is the Spirit of the Father within me that doeth these things."
Here is the awareness of Reality. Here is the Science which Jesus knew and it is by his Science he performed these things clearly and distinctly.
When he was accused of curing disease by Beelzebub or ignorance, he replied, "If I cast out ignorance and disease, through ignorance, my Kingdom or Law will not stand. But if I cast out ignoarance and disease through the Science of The Law of the Christ of God, then my kingdom will stand for it is not of this world."
It is not of this world of ignorance. It is not of this world of duplicity. It is not of this world of opposites.
Now your world is a world of opposites. In your mind are the opposites, always the opposites. Every time I talk to any of you, I see nothing else but opposites in your minds. Yet I try to correct it. The next time I see you, you are just the same. Why? Because you have not discerned the fact that you are living in opposites.

Blessed Teacher of all souls, Thou didst bid us to seek deep in the recess of our being to find the "Pearl of great price."
Beliefs in which we thought we could find inspiration we found were chaff before the winds of fear and doubt.
But as we spread our Wings of Love beyond these boundaries of separation, Thou didst leap into our hearts with joy.
Still teach us, Beloved Teacher, for we still need the guidance of the Christ within - the Good Shepherd that keeps the fold complete,O Beloved Teacher of Mine.

0, Beloved One, through the door of my aspiration the imprisoned fragrance of Thy Omnipresence was released on the wings of Thy Love.
It spread over Infinite Space carrying Thy blessing of peace to every being, turning unhappiness into joy.
I have broken the cage of the past memories and habits that held my wings fast in the bars of my personality.
Thy Eternal Presence has revealed to me it was but a torturing cage of dreams, and now I am soaring in the Presence of Thy Love that unites me with everything.
