These are two of the most wonderfull books that I have come across. These are apart from Divine Healing of Mind and Body the peice de resistance of Dr Mac's collected works.
Beyond the Himalayas and The Yoga of the Christ Consicousness both tell us all we need to know and show that mankind has to lost the 'false self' before the Real Self the I AM can operate freely within and through us.
We also come to realise that all knowledge is within us and all power is within us and the outer world is nothing but a world of effects, hence it is called the illusionary world.

Hi Pam,
Great to have you with us.
Yes I do agree with you that these are two life changing books. When reading 'Beyond The Himalayas' it is very easy to feel that you are really there experiencing it with the different smells and sounds as you read along.
Before one can make any great spiritual progress the ego self must be 'lost' to The Christ self. One must practise watching one's thoughts and actions and reactions.
By putting away negative thoughts, actions and reactions and dwelling on the positive virtues of The Father that is love, patience, tolerance, harmony, goodwill, compassion, consideration, charity, kindness, understanding, generosity to name only a few one will begin to make progress.
What you find most annoying in another person is an issue to correct within yourself.
Even more progress will be made by applying the above to ones daily life.
In the application of the above one becomes.
The knowledge and power within us is not realised until the above has been mastered.
In Love and Light.

Hi, I thank you for your reply. If I can just say one thing here, one little correction to what you have said, hope you dont mind, but I think you will find that we are told by the good doctor (Murdo) that we are not becoming, we already are. We ARE therefore we cannot become anything. I know there are many writings that urge us to become but this is a misconception that needs to be put right.
What else you said of course, I agree completely with you.
Love and Blessings

Thanks Pam,
This may be what you are referring to :
_________________________
For in Reality that is all there is; then you will be truly creative and a channel through which the Master can speak again.
‘If you are continually occupied with the self, trying to become, there is always a
struggle, but when you know yourself to Be now, the struggle ceases; then only can the Life
that is free be realised. Your thought and work have been limited by your lack of understanding
of your true Being Now, not in some distant future.”
He went on to explain: “To understand that which is limitless, unconditioned, your
mind must not be burdened by the thoughts of the self. The self which is nothing must dissolve
away, so that Reality can express Itself in the Now. ‘I of my own self am nothing.”
_________________________
I am referring to a different area of Seek Me, Know Me, Be Me,
It might have been better for me to state that when one applies the teachings one bes rather than becomes.
In Love and Light.

After reading and re-reading Dr Mac's books over many, many years now I have found that as I have evolved and matured spiritually his written words “give more & more” with each new reading. We all will understand only what is right for us now to understand……..but be prepared for a spiritual journey like no other…….
