Greetings! We had a chance to see a spectacular meteor shower the past few days. We live where there are no city lights, so it was even more beautiful. As I was sitting outside by the pool watching this show, I had time to reflect and discuss a number of isues. Why do we sense negativity? Came to the conclusion it stems mostly from inside and not from past experiences. We get certain feelings that somethng is not right, not aligned/ then we must discern whether to remain or remove ourselves from whatever energy is disturbing us. It can be rather perplexing at times because we are unable to explain it but we just KNOW. Are we listening to our higher power? I think so. And I think we are communicating on a much higher level that can't be defined in human terms. I just realized something...the NOW is in the KNOW.

Hi Skydancer now that would be a great question for Spirit I think. Sometimes when you are "in the now" for that twinkle of time, if indeed time is what it is, you will know all there is to know and realise that there are no more questions to ask, no more answers to get, for that moment you are one with "the All" and are at total peace & bliss ( at home). BUT the moment you start to think about it & analyse it ....it is gone. This is the difference between us and Jesus, Buddha , Dr Mac & other Masters they operated within this state of vibration at all times being able to straddle both worlds with ease, we get just glimpses now and then and return to the material vibration. They could pass it on to others,we struggle to explain a tenth of it to others.

Beautifully said ahimsa. I like the analogy of straddling both worlds. That really describes what we go through in our search for enlightenment. I really believe though it is all within US. I find my answers come more with meditation and in dreams. When my dreams become like looking through the third eye in meditations and when in meditations I see through the third eye things that may appear as dreams, I know I have entered a state of higher consciousness. I absorb what I can at that moment. My mind later tries to analize what I have felt and seen. I am always left with the question though "How does it apply to my world today, if at all?"

Hi skydancer another great question to ask of spirit. "How does it apply to my world today, if at all?"
I can quite understand what you are saying for I often say to myself at bedtime "off to the real world" I have found in that peaceful twilight zone it can become a wonderful meditation and bringer of great realizations. My time is just predawn maybe from 3.30 - 5.30 and also pre sleep. I have had some great spiritual conversations, realizations and out of body experiences ever at these times. So exciting! Wouldnt it be great to be able to video these happenings because much is lost in trying to translate the experence into English LOL

One day about sunset, Zhuangzi dozed off and dreamed that he turned into a butterfly.
He flapped his wings and sure enough he was a butterfly...
What a joyful feeling as he fluttered about, he completely forgot that he was Zhuangzi.
Soon though, he realized that that proud butterfly was really Zhuangzi who dreamed he was a butterfly, or was it a butterfly who dreamed he was Zhuangzi!
Maybe Zhuangzi was the butterfly, and maybe the butterfly was Zhungzi?

My last post didn't make it on the board. I must have been half asleep and deleted it by mistake. Now I can't remember what pearl of wisdom I enlighted myself with. Been busy with my angels. Can't figure out if they are keeping me busy or if I am keeping them busy, but good things are happening along with more challenges everyday. I am off for some much needed sleep. Be blessed.

Well finally we got the house we wanted and will be moving soon. Yeahhhh!! Temperatures are dropping finally....only 102 now. This is an improvement. During the process of trying to buy this new home, some peoples true colors showed via gossip that returned to us. It's been an interesting several months to say the least. White feathers are still abounding for us. The young adults in the community have taken a liking to us which may be a source of jealousy from some of the adults here, but we treat the kids with respect and receive it in return and we encourage them to pursue their goals and education. We've helped stranded people in any way we can and see the negativity from others who have turned bitter and scoff at helping others. It reminds me what I hope never to become, bitter. With all that I have been through, it is no ones fault and certainly not the fault of strangers. If I can't do good, I can atleast have a kind word for others. A smile, a reaching hand, a hug, whatever can go along way to help others. And so that is my pearl for today. Be blessed. Ahimsa, I have missed being on the forum lately, but I am still here and send you blessings. If I don't post often it is because I will be busy for awhile...again. LOL. Take care.

Hi Skydancer good to hear from you again....you have been busy I see....be great to see you back on a regular basis LOL. Yes friend people are funny critters aint they, busy looking to find fault in others and overlooking any good points.

Greetings ahimsa and all. I had not realized it had been so long since I had posted. I have been busy trying to function in this mad world like everyone else and it is time now to stop that. Time to go back to smelling the roses and stop all this physically exertion that my body is rebelling against. I am now faced with having another back surgery after having already had one 5 years ago. I can't tell you how my heart sunk when I was told that. It takes a year to recover from it. So what is my lesson here? I don't know. I can't change a problem I was born with. I can't ignore it either in hopes it will go away. I can't be like everyone else. I have to explore and appreciate my uniqueness and share that with the world. New friends have entered my life this past year or so, strange paranormal things have also happened. I am faced yet with another challenge which I will face with the courage I always do. Misdirected energy the cause, absolutely. Or is the timing right that this challenge faces me? The purpose I will leave up to God, but the response is solely mine. Doctors say I am too young to go through all this but what they don't see is my old and wise soul behind all this. I have not seen my little white angel duck who took a fancy to my toes one day. Perhaps that was a messenger. One of my dogs has decided to never leave my side and insists on sleeping next to me to the point of crawling over the other dogs to do so. Is something happening? I think so. Nature and it's interactions are beautiful and simple. I wish people could be so in tune. Do animals contemplate their path to God like humans? Do we perhaps think too much and act too little? Animals seem to be so much in the NOW. Maybe we need to look to them for lessons.
This seems to be my day for questions and I seem to be rambling and getting deeper into questions which I will probably answer myself by the end of the day. I am thinking that enlightenment is far simpler than we may think. We as humans may be complicating matters unnecessarily/ What do you think?
